Skirt St Vinnies, vest Rome markets, denim shirt Zara last year, belt Veronika Maine two years ago, bag old (not me), shoes Novo two years ago, plants styled by Cotter and Jewel |
I absolutely love the Midi skirt length at the moment and I am also loving the denim shirts either done up to the top (will attempt this look on another post) or tied in the good old eighties way. I know some of you may think this is a tricky look and it can be. It has to be done with a heel or wedge and top tucked in or tied as I have. A belt will help.
This silk skirt is a find from St Vinnies at Artarmon and as much as I love it, it has a lot of fabric around the waist. So I wore a thick solid belt with it to hide some of the fabric and define my waist. As this is a very feminine look it works well.
By wearing an interesting vest underneath the denim shirt, I could open the shirt right up to make it look more relaxed and flattering as creates a v-neck. This could also be done with a plain cami. Has to be fitted though.
Well this is my first attempt at using the tripod outside with my new camera. The was the wind blowing but I quite like the wind blown look. So I put all the photos on the post as my hair was going wild. However it was ballooning the skirt a tad so I took a quick photo of it inside for you to see the look - without wind.
Thanks for reading Would love some comments and suggestions on posts ideas |
